“The Lord blessed us with this win and man, does it feel good,” Ferguson commented. “We had a phenomenal Team Zero Race Car and was able to make a pass on the outside to get it done. Thank you to my family, crew, God, and all of our sponsors!”
With the Top 5 qualifiers from each group getting locked into the A-Main, Ferguson laid down the second fastest time in his group behind Zack Mitchell. Starting in fourth, Ferguson overtook polesitter Brett Hamm on lap 13 and held off Michael Brown in the remaining distance to capture the win. Brown, Kyle Hardy, Anthony Sanders, and Brett Hamm trailed him to the checkers in the 40-lap affair.
