Schrader Bests Brownstown Bullring and Adams County

Ken Schrader bested a field of 26 DIRTcar UMP Modifieds to win the feature at Brownstown (Ill.) Bullring on Friday evening.

He started his night by advancing from fifth to second in his heat race to earn the fifth-starting spot for the feature.

Taking the lead with just two circuits remaining in the 15-lap finale, Schrader went on to cruise to his seventh win of the year, which came over Logan Dockery, Treb Jacoby, Matt Brucato, and Michael Meyer.

Schrader added his eighth win of the year on Sunday evening at Adams County Speedway (Quincy, Ill.). Fifteen competitors entered the Sport Mod division and Ken won his heat race to earn the fourth-starting spot for the feature.

He took the lead on lap 6 and paced the final 12 circuits to claim the win over Joe Rudy, Patrick Phillips, Dakota Girard, and Dave Wietholder.
