Earning the 19th-starting position for Tuesday’s feature via a B-Main win, Mark gained one spot to finish 18th.
In a field of 58 cars on Wednesday as the remainder of the week became World of Outlaws Case Construction Late Model Series sanctioned, Whitener took part in his heat race but was a scratch from his B-Main.
Following the eighth-fastest time in his group on Thursday, Mark outdueled Garrett Smith in his heat to pick up the eight-lap victory. Starting the $10,000-to-win A-Main in fifth, Whitener ran as high as second but faded back to sixth when the checkered flag flew.
After failing to qualify for Friday’s feature, Whitener took part in his time trial session on Saturday but was a scratch from his heat and B-Main.
