11th Place Finish in Toyota Knoxville 50 at Tazewell Speedway

Saturday night found Jake Knowles in action at Tazewell Speedway (Tazewell, Tenn.) for the event co-sanctioned by the Schaeffer’s Iron-Man Late Model Series and the Schaeffer’s Southern Nationals. Drawing 29 cars for the Toyota Knoxville 50, Knowles followed up the ninth fastest time in his group with a sixth place finish in his heat. Failing to place fourth or better in his B-Main, Jake was granted a provisional into the main event. With $10,000 on the line, Jake Knowles improved ten spots in the 50-lapper to place 11th.
