KELLER DOMINATES FOR GOV CUP WIN
Jeremy Keller and Quentin Kinzley led the field to the green flag in the iMCA Modified feature. They briefly raced side by side until Keller pulled away. After having a terrible night 1 of the Gov Cup, Keller was making up for it on Night 2 as he wasted no time catching lapped traffic. A handful of mid-race cautions erased his large led over the field but on the restart, Keller pulled away once more. Kinzley started to fade through the field, losing positions to Marlyn Seidler, Mark Dahl and Shawn Strand. A late race caution regrouped the field on the final restart, Strand found some extra speed on the highline. He quickly passed Dahl for third and reeled in Seidler. However, when the checkered flag waved, it was Jeremy Keller crossing the finish line first. Marlyn Seidler’s second place finish locked up the Gov Cup championship over Shawn Strand who finished a close third. Mark Dahl finished fourth while Quentin Kinzley rounded out the top five.
