Benedum attends Hillbilly 100 at Tyler County with Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series
On Sunday afternoon, Mike Benedum traveled to his home track of Tyler County Speedway (Middlebourne, W.Va.) for the annual Hillbilly 100 with the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series.
With a stout 34-car field on hand, Benedum qualified 13th-fastest but fell two spots in his heat race. Needing a Top-3 finish to transfer to the $30,000-to-win feature, Mike recorded a fifth-place finish.
Mike and his team will now turn their attention to Eldora Speedway (Rossburg, Ohio) for the World 100.
