Mike Benedum follows World of Outlaws to 411 and Talladega
After nearly two months away from the racetrack, Mike Benedum returned to the driver's seat his of his BSI Well Service No. 25 Late Model on Thursday afternoon with the World of Outlaws Case Late Model Series at 411 Motor Speedway (Seymour, Tenn.) for the Seymour Showdown.
With 47 Late Models in pit area, Benedum recorded a ninth-place finish in his heat and was unable to make a transfer spot in his Last Chance Showdown, ending his night early.
Switching gears to Talladega Short Track (Eastaboga, Ala.) on Friday for the two-day Alabama Gang 100 event, Mike qualified his way into the second $4,000-to-win feature of the night and put together a 14th-place finish.
For Saturday's $50,000-to-win show, Benedum gained one spot in his heat race to finish fifth. Needing a Top-2 finish in his Last Chance Showdown, Mike recorded a sixth-place outing.
