Benedum Lands Podium Finish at Tyler County

While Mother Nature has been wreaking havoc on the Benedum Motorsports schedule over the past weeks, he was able to return to action on Sunday evening at Tyler County Speedway (Middlebourne, West Virginia). A $1,500 winner's check was on the line as the team entered the annual Bud Weigle Memorial at The Bullring. Mike blazed to fast time honors in his #25 BSI Well Service/Longhorn/Roush Yates Racing Engine Super Late Model, and came from sixth in the dast to claim the win. As a result he would start on the pole for the finale. Benedum bolted to the race led at the drop of the green flag, and led for much of the race before coming up short at the checkered flag.
