Baker finds hard luck during Bob Hampshire Classic; World Finals a possibility
By Fully Injected Motorsports:
SHREVE, Ohio (October 14, 2019) – Trevor Baker’s visit to Waynesfield Raceway Park for the annual Bob Hampshire Classic was short, but the determination to succeed still lingers, already looking ahead to the near-eight hour jaunt to Concord, North Carolina, for the annual World Finals featuring the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series.
Baker, driver of the T-Rev Performance/Baker’s Mobile Home Transport/Exodus Cycle/Coblentz Trucking/No. 45 sprint car, was unable to finish action at Waynesfield on October 12, as an incident during his respective heat race left Baker upside-down.
“We had a pretty good month of September, so we were hoping to keep that momentum going throughout the month of October. It’s just one of those things. All we can do is regroup and get ready for the next one,” Trevor Baker said, who owns one victory in 2019, that occurring at Sharon Speedway during the annual Apple Festival Nationals. “As of now, the plan is to head to Charlotte for the World Finals. I’m excited to get there.”
