Baker shows promise during Rick Susong Memorial at Wayne County
By Fully Injected Motorsports:
SHREVE, Ohio (September 3, 2019) - Despite ending his evening 20th on the score sheet, ‘T-Rev’ Trevor Baker’s visit to Wayne County Speedway with the All Star Circuit of Champions on Monday, September 2, was filled with promise. In fact, Baker set the second fastest time during his respective group of time trialers, all before finishing third during his respective heat race.
Although momentum and speed were clearly on his side, the main event did not end in Baker’s favor, eventually fading to 20th after starting 12th on the grid.
“We definitely had some speed early on in the night. That’s motivating, especially against that level of competition,” Trevor Baker said, driver of the T-Rev Performance/Baker’s Mobile Home Transport/Exodus Cycle/Coblentz Trucking/No. 45 sprint car. “I’m proud of my team. We have what it takes to be up front, we just need to figure out a way to harness everything.”
Trevor Baker’s upcoming plans stand as uncertain. Options for the coming weekend range from an appearance at Fremont Speedway to an appearance at Port Royal Speedway. A final decision will be made later in the week.
