9th Place Finish in USRA Fall Nationals Finale at Vado

Jake was in action over the weekend at the 20th annual Rancho Milagro Fall Nationals at the Vado Speedway Park in Vado, NM.

Friday night, Jake cut a tire while leading his heat race, knocking him from competition early. He then rebounded and raced from 9th to 1st in the b-main before coming home 9th in the night's preliminary feature.

Saturday, he started 6th and won his heat race, putting him 4th in the starting lineup for the main. He started 4th, ran inside the top five for much of the event, and finished fourth when the checkered flag flew.

Sunday, he was locked into the main, starting 8th for the $20,101 payday. He ran inside the top ten during the entire 50-lap event, coming home with a 9th place finish for his efforts.
