Roland makes surprise visit to Moberly Motorsports Park with Summer Nationals
Will Roland trekked to Moberly Motorsports Park (Moberly, Mo.) on Tuesday afternoon to compete with the DIRTcar Summer Nationals Hell Tour.
With 32 Late Models in the pit area, Roland qualified 12th-quickest before making up three spots in his heat race. For the $5,000-to-win feature, Will completed 23-laps before pulling off the track with motor issues. After assessing the damage done to the motor, Will made the tough decision to skip the rest of the week and head back to Georgia.
Being back home in Georgia, Will Roland traveled to Whynot Motorsports Park (Meridian, Miss.) for the House Divided 40 doubleheader weekend with the Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series.
For Friday's $5,000-to-win opener, Will suffered more engine issues in his heat race which ultimately made him miss the 40-lap A-Main.
Looking for better luck on Saturday, Roland qualified 10th-quickest and made up two spots in his heat race to transfer to the main event. For Saturday's $5,000-to-win feature, Will was an early retiree on lap 28.
