Will Roland runner-up in American All-Star visit to Natural Bridge Speedway
Kicking off his weekend in Georgia for the rain shortened Peach State Classic, Will Roland rolled into Senoia (Ga.) Raceway on Thursday afternoon.
With 25 604 Late Models checked in, Roland made up one spot in the 25-lap main event to finish runner-up to race-winner Matt Dooley.
Making the trip North to Virginia, Roland was one of 51 American All-Star Series checked in at Natural Bridge (Va.) Speedway on Saturday afternoon for the Pro Late Model Paramount event.
After topping his time trial group, Will finished second in the Dash which earned him a second row starting position in the main event. With a $10,000 payday on the line, Roland led the first 35 circuits before giving up the top spot to Logan Roberson. He followed Roberson to the checkered flag and scored a podium finish in second.
