Eighth-place finish in North/South 100 at Florence Speedway

On Thursday afternoon Best Performance Motorsports and Tyler Erb returned with the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) at Florence Speedway (Union, Ky.) for the Sunoco North-South Shootout. With 46 Late Models entered for the $10,000-to-win preliminary feature, Tyler notched a second-place finish in his heat, which positioned him eighth on the starting grid for the A-Main. The following night for a pair of heat races, Erb outdueled Kent Robinson in his first round to pick up the win before placing fourth in the second round after sitting out a lengthy rain delay.

With passing points placing him 11th on the starting grid for Saturday night’s $50,000-to-win North/South 100, Tyler clawed forward three spots in the 100-lapper to register an eighth-place finish.

Tyler is currently sixth in the latest LOLMDS point standings.
