Erb notches Top-5 finish in Peach State Classic

On Friday evening, Best Performance Motorsports and Tyler Erb invaded Senoia Raceway (Senoia, Ga.) to compete in the inaugural Peach State Classic. Drawing a stout field of 65 Late Models, Tyler followed up the sixth-fastest time in his qualifying group with a 10-lap heat race victory. With $10,000 on the line in the feature, Erb dropped one spot in the 25-lap affair to register a sixth-place finish. (Richard Barnes photo)

The following night, Erb secured his spot into the $52,052-to-win Peach State Classic with a heat race win. Starting in third, Tyler faded one spot in the 70-lapper to finish fourth. He followed Chris Madden, Mike Marlar, and Ashton Winger across the line with Ryan Gustin coming in fifth.
