Fourth-place finish in Ralph Latham Memorial at Florence

Tyler Erb returned with the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) on Friday afternoon at Ponderosa Speedway (Junction City, Ky.) piloting the Best Performance Motorsports No. 1 Late Model for the 15th annual John Bradshaw Memorial. Jumping up two spots in his heat race to finish sixth, Tyler earned the 16th-starting position for the opening night feature. In a field of 38 cars on Saturday at Florence Speedway (Union, Ky.) for the Ralph Latham Memorial, Erb came in fifth in his heat before picking up a 12-lap consolation victory. Starting the $15,000-to-win A-Main in 18th, Tyler advanced through the field 14 to spots to finish fourth, trailing Josh Rice, Hudson O’Neal, and Jonathan Davenport to the checkers with Tim McCreadie coming in fifth.

Tyler sits in 10th in the latest LOLMDS point standings.
