Prepping for World of Outlaws Invasion at Spoon River

CLINTON, Ill. (08/07/24) – Kyle Hammer made a guest appearance in a Josh Robb-owned DIRTcar Pro Modified on Friday at Farmer City Raceway and ended the night in Victory Lane aboard the Rocco’s Bar / Decatur Fence Company / Axiom Construction No. 8 Mark Bush Modified.

The Clinton, Ill., racer captured the $2,222 What Up Dog 40 payday after sweeping his heat, the Dash for Cash, and the 40-lap feature.

“I just gotta say thanks to Josh Robb for giving me the opportunity to race this thing,” Hammer said. “This is my first time running a B-Mod and I am very happy with the results. We led every lap of every race we competed in tonight so I would say it was a success for everyone involved.”

Kyle Hammer made his first-ever DIRTcar Pro Modified appearance on Friday evening at Farmer City (Ill.) Raceway aboard the Josh Robb-owned No. 8 machine for the What Up Dog 40 Memorial Race.

Checked in among a massive group of 36 Modifieds, Hammer qualified eighth-fastest in his group before picking up the victory in his heat race. Starting from the front-row in the 40-lap main event, Kyle led all but the opening lap as he took home the checkered flag in dominating fashion. Hammer picked up $2,222 for his efforts as Brayden Doyle and Brandon Bollinger completed the podium.
