Kyle Hammer scores Top-5 finish in Reutimann Memorial at Volusia Speedway Park

Making the long haul to the Sunshine State, Kyle Hammer unloaded his No. 45 UMP Modified and joined a stout 57-car field at Volusia Speedway Park (De Leon Springs, Fla.) on Friday afternoon for the Reutimann Memorial.

Laying down the fifth-quickest lap in his qualifying group, Hammer started third and finished second in his preliminary feature. He trailed race-winner Ethan Dotson while Ben Harmon completed the podium.

Starting third in the $10,000-to-win finale on Saturday, Kyle raced his way into the runner-up position before fading late to finish fifth. He trailed Kyle Strickler, Trevor Neville, Brad Goff, and Mason Zeigler.
