12th-place MARS finish at Highland Speedway

With Friday’s scheduled stop at Tri-City Speedway (Granite City, Ill.) falling to wet weather, Kyle Hammer entered a single event over the weekend with Saturday’s MARS Modified Racing Series contest at Highland Speedway (Highland, Ill.).

Forced to use a provisional into the $2,000-to-win A-Main after scratching from his B-Main, Hammer charged forward nine spots in the 30-lap affair to register a 12th-place finish.

Kyle is currently sixth in the latest MARS Racing Series point standings.
