Tad Pospisil makes two of three Lucas Oil I-80 Nationals features

Tad Pospisil was one of 46 Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) entries on hand at I-80 Speedway (Greenwood, Neb.) on Thursday night to take part in the I-80 Nationals. After coming in second in his heat race, Pospisil was collected with another competitor in his B-Main while battling for a transfer spot that brought an immediate end to his night.

With preliminary results from Thursday and Friday setting the grid for Saturday night’s $30,000-to-win I-80 Nationals feature, Pospisil fell one spot short of a transfer position in his B-Main with a fifth place outing. With the non-qualifier feature transferring the race-winner into the show, Tad posted a runner-up finish behind Jake Neal, forcing him to rely on a provisional into the main event. Passing 11 cars in the 80-lap affair, Tad Pospisil notched an 19th place finish.
