Pospisil enjoys stellar 2020 season, prepares for busy 2021 slate

Tad Pospisil recently put a wrap on a highly successful 2020 campaign. Despite the chaos and curve balls created by this year’s pandemic, the Norfolk, Nebraska driver persevered to have a stellar racing season. (Todd Boyd photo)

Restrictions on race tracks resulted in a later-than-normal start to Pospisil’s racing endeavors, but it didn’t slow him down on the track. After first hitting the track in mid-May, Tad embarked on an aggressive schedule, which included 35 events in six states at roughly two dozen different tracks.

While Pospisil’s main focus was on championships with the Malvern Bank Late Model Series and Hoker Trucking Late Model Series, he also tackled various high-profile events with the national-level World of Outlaws (WoO) Morton Buildings Late Model Series and Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS).

By the time the dust had settled in early October, Tad had amassed nine wins, 20 Top-5 finishes and 25 Top-10 finishes. Via his consistency he also claimed his second-career Malvern Bank Late Model Series Championship as well as the inaugural Hoker Trucking Late Model Series crown.

Along the way, Tad competed in front of tens of thousands of fans as he traveled thousands of miles up and down the highways of America’s heartland. Additionally, many of the races that he entered were broadcast to worldwide audiences via both cable providers and streaming services.

“I don’t think anybody knew what to expect out of the 2021 season with the pandemic altering so many plans. However, I couldn’t be more proud of what our team did this year. We overcame countless adversities and had a stellar year against some really talented fields of racers,” Pospisil said.

“Not only am I grateful for the hard work put in by my team, but I’m also extremely appreciative of all the company’s and individuals, who sponsor our team. Without their support, there’s no way we could have achieved so many goals this year. We are already busily preparing for next year, and with so much momentum in our corner, we are focused on an even bigger racing season in 2021.”

The team is now full speed ahead preparing for the 2021 campaign. Tad looks to defend his title with both series, while continuing to branch out to new events. Make sure to stay tuned to www.TadPospisil.com for the latest team news and updates.
