James Snyder started racing in 2015 around mid season, he started out in the #89 Flinn stock, then started driving for Runions racing driving the #67 owned by Byron Cavanaugh and Taylor Runions. After Benjamin Nott denied a claim while leading the points as a rookie, James finished the season in Ben's #11n. In 2017, James was invited to drive for Jimmy McKeown in a street stock. Second week out he had a nasty roll over that destroyed the car. Two weeks later he was on the track again in a different car. He ran half the season and decided to take some time off.
In 2022, he decided to try out the truck class. He bought a truck and got it together shortly after mid season.
