Career Summary
I think my first taste of racing came from when I was just a kid. I tore around the farm in a 1970 sears catalog one wheel wonder. It was all i had to go (FAST). I never experienced the GoKart racing world as a kid but always dreamed about it. My dad has always had a love for the sport, he owned a car when i was growing up and he always told me when your old enough, just maybe. I started racing when i was at the age of 15 in the hobby stock class. After a year of hobbys I tried racing another year in the same class at my home track because I was of age. After winning one race and finishing second in another out of the first three nights i dedicded to hop into a modified. First years are always tuff in anything, I raced at two tracks on and off for the rest of the year, coming out of my first modified season with four third place finishes, not the best of results but they were good enough for me. In 2008 I decided to stay with the A mod class and we bought a newer used chassis. I had alot better luck with it, I still raced 2 tracks finishing with 17 top fours and finishing 3rd in track points at boone county raceway. In 2009 I started understanding more of the mod set up. We bought another newer used car and decided to race three nights a week for most of the year. We came out of 2009 with only 2 wins but ended up 5th in the state and 21 top 4s. In 2010 I couldnt of asked for any better of a season. I lost one of my biggest fans inbetween the 2009 and 2010 seasons, My grandpa Iverson. It wasnt quiet the same without gramp around but we tuffed it out. Racing with two cars at three tracks all year long was one of the most time consuming things i have ever done, but ended up being worth it. Coming out of the 2010 season we had an amazing 22 feature wins, we had a weekend with 4 feature wins in a row. Turning out 4th in the IMCA NATIONAL points, 2nd in the state and 2nd in the central region. Also picking up 2 track championships. I couldnt of asked for anything more and I thank god for all the success.
