Podium Finish in Opening Night of West Texas Crude Nationals

Tuesday night found Rodney Sanders in action at West Texas Raceway (Lubbock, Tex.) for the two-day West Texas Crude Nationals. Drawing 31 USRA Modifieds, Sanders locked his spot into the opening night feature with an 8-lap heat race victory. Earning the second-starting position, Rodney dropped one spot in the 20-lapper to place third behind Fito Gallardo and Kale Westover with Joe Duvall and William Gould rounding out the Top-5.

Wednesday night’s finale fell victim to Mother Nature.
