Tifft makes ASA STARS National Tour start at Toledo
Driving for Anthony Campi Racing, Matt Tifft continued his diverse 2024 racing schedule over the weekend with an appearance on a paved oval. The Buckeye State native took on the 36th CorvetteParts.Net Glass City 200 at Toledo (Ohio) Speedway aboard the No. 57 B’laster Products Chevrolet.
The ASA STARS National Tour-sanctioned event brought 21 Super Late Models to the half-mile track, where Tifft qualified 14th on Saturday with a 15.812-second lap.
He had moved into the top 10 by the 30th circuit of the evening’s 200-lap main event, but was taken out in a crash on lap 47, ending his event with a DNF and a 20th-place result.
Tifft’s teammate Casey Roderick scored the $15,000 victory.
