Tough Loss In Havasu

Fanelli qualified 3rd in Havasu, would run 3rd in the Trophy Dash, would finish 2nd in his heat and would learn something for the 30 lap main event. Fanelli would start first and didn't look back leading the first 23 laps till a debree caution would line the field back up nose to tail. Fanelli said, "I just used up my tires early and I knew I was a sitting duck on the restart". With 7 laps remaining Fanelli would fall back to 3rd and that was where he would finish. Next stop for the HPD Midget Madera California!
