Overton attends LOLMDS doubleheader in Bluegrass State

Wells and Sons Motorsports pilot Brandon Overton hopped behind the wheel of the No. 76 Longhorn Chassis Late Model on Friday night for the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS)-sanctioned John Bradshaw Memorial at Ponderosa Speedway (Junction City, Ky.). In a field of 25 cars, Overton secured his spot into the opening night feature with a second-place finish in his heat behind Mike Marlar. The following night at Florence Speedway (Union, Ky.) for the Ralph Latham Memorial, Brandon gained three spots in his heat race to finish third. Starting the $15,000-to-win A-Main in 12th, Overton was an early retiree from the 60-lapper on lap 20.
