Overton finishes 10th in season opener at All-Tech Raceway

After losing Friday night’s opener to bad weather, Brandon Overton and the Wells & Sons Motorsports team returned to All-Tech Raceway (Lake City, Fla.) on Saturday afternoon for the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) season opener. Drawing a stout field of 57 cars for the General Tire Winter Nationals, Overton followed up the fourth fastest lap in his time trial group with a 10-lap heat race victory. Earning the second-starting position for the $15,000-to-win A-Main, Brandon slipped back to a 10th-place outing in the 50-lap affair. (Heath Lawson photo)
