Off to a little Rough Start
This past Friday we got our first race of the season in. It didn't go as we would have liked it to but we brought the car home in one piece. Then we checked it all over and figured out what was wrong with it so we are looking forward to a better weekend this coming weekend. We had 24 cars at Skyline Speedway on Friday.
I started 3rd in the third heat and was fighting a tight racecar all night so I finished up 6th so that put me starting 3rd in the B-Main. Which we tried a couple of things but still didn't help the car. Ended up finishing 5th.
So we went back to the shop and tore it apart and found we had a bent tie rod and a few other things that needed fixed before the weekend. We are looking forward to having a better weekend this coming weekend. Right now looks like our plans are Skyline Speedway on Friday and I-77 Raceway Park on Saturday. Hope to see everyone there.
