Stevie Smith Wins His 3rd Champion Racing Oil Williams Grove National Open
The Speedway Motors/Champion Racing Oil Central PA Sprint Cars had a three day show with the World of Outlaws for the 53rd Williams Grove Speedway Champion Racing Oil National Open. The race was been expanded to a three day show scheduled to start on Thursday night October 1st but all three days were rained out. The $50,000 to win Champion Racing Oil National Open was condensed to a one day show on Sunday October 4th. Stevie Smith driving the Fred Rahmer #51 got redemption for last years loss by winning his third title. His last win in the event was 24 years ago. Donny Schatz ran 2nd with Logan Schuchart 3rd.
The Speedway Motors/Champion Racing Oil Central PA Sprint Cars have two more shows this weekend with Williams Grove Speedway running their final show of the season on Friday October 9th and Lincoln Speedway running their final for 2015 on Saturday October 10th.
Greg Hodnett leads the series points over Danny Dietrich with Brian Montieth 3rd.
