The Bandit Takes 2
The Speedway Motors/Champion Racing Oil Central PA Sprint Cars kicked off PA Speed Week at Williams Grove Speedway Friday night. Stevie Smith runs just the bigger paying time trial shows in the Fred Rahmer #51 but is always a favorite to win. That is exactly what he did Friday in taking the opening round of 2015 PA Speed Week. Rain moved in for Saturday moving the Lincoln Speedway Speed Week show to tonight Monday June 29th. Sunday was the Fred Rahmer promoted Party At The Path Speed Week show at Path Valley Speedway and Stevie Smith won his 2nd show in a row in the Rahmer #51. Tonight Monday June 29th Danny Dietrich took the Speed Week win at Lincoln Speedway to halt Stevie Smiths streak at two with Stevie finishing 3rd.
The Speedway Motors/Champion Racing Oil Central PA Sprint Cars continue 2015 PA Speed Week Tuesday night at Grandview Speedway, Wednesday at Hagerstown Speedway in Maryland and back to Lincoln Speedway on Thursday July 2nd. It continues with Williams Grove Speedway on Friday July 3rd, Port Royal Speedway Saturday July 4th and ends at Selinsgrove Speedway Sunday July 5th.
Greg Hodnett leads the points with Brian Montieth in 2nd and Danny Dietrich in 3rd. The points do not include Monday's show at Lincoln Speedway.
