Ty Makes his Midget Debut!!!!
Ty made his first midget debut this weekend at the 1st Annual Twister Nationals at I-44 Riverside Speedway in Oklahoma City. He had no seat time in the car until he hit the track for hotlaps on friday. Ty had to make the main event the hard way by coming thru the B feature. He started 19th in the A main event and was running a solid 9th when he had to make an early exit with the motor overheating, so he was forced to watch the rest of the race from the infield. Saturday proved to be better, when he made the main event straight out of his heat race, Ty would start 12th and was making his way thru the field and was trying to make a pass for 6th when he tagged the back bumper of the car in front of him and it sent Ty spinning into turn three with two laps left in the race, he would exit to the pits when the car would not refire for him. Ty is looking forward to running the Tulsa Shoot-Out in December here in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
