Oklahoma Mini Sprint Nationals
The Oklahoma Mini Sprint Nationals were August 2-3, 2013 in Moore, Oklahoma. This was the first race back at I-44 Riverside Speedway since the tornado tore through Moore back in May. I would like to say Thank You to my dad for being so kind and sitting out this weekend to let me race his car in the Non-wing class. I was high point man in the non-wing class, so after finishing 2nd in the qualifier that locked me in for the Non-wing A Feature for Saturday. Didn't get as many passing points in the Outlaw, but still walked away 5th highest in points, missed locking into the A Feature by one spot. Started the front row of the Outlaw B Feature and finished 2nd. I finished 4th in the Non-wing Feature and passed for 5th in the Outlaw Feature coming out of turn 4. We had a great weekend and did really well against alot of great drivers. Thank You so much to Dickie, Bree and the girls for making the trip to help us out, and to Scott Barr that showed up unexpectedly on Saturday, couldn't have done this without all of my crew and especially my sponsors.
