[b SEBASTOPOL, CA 4-23-10] - Two weeks ago Sebastopol's Bradley Terrell had a strong showing in the Civil War Series event that opened the Petaluma Speedway racing season. The top five finish was a fabulous recovery from a previous accident at Placerville Speedway that heavily damaged his family owned #43 sprint car.

After such a strong comeback, Terrell and his team have been locked and loaded and ready to kick off the 2010 All Pro Series point championship this Saturday night. During this past week the team was considering foregoing the season opener as a key member of their team was recovering from knee surgery but in a last minute decision, the show will go on for Terrell Racing. Terrell will once again contend in the All Pro Series, however, he is focused more on winning races than the accumulative points ant the title.

"We aren't really going to stress about the points all year long like we have in the past," said Terrell, who's father suffered complications follwing extensive knee injury this past week and the team didn't think they would make the opener. "Yes I plan on racing the entire season but I am focusing on winning more races. If I do well in that goal then the points will just come with it. The last thing you want to do is get too conservative worrying about points and end up settling for a position when you could take a chance and win."

In the recent Civil War event at Petaluma Speedway, Terrell qualified 18th with a 14:651. In his heat race he rallied back from the deep qualifying time with a victory in heat race. In the feature the Analy High School graduate did what he does best on his home track, powering from the 16th starting position through traffic to finish 6th at the checkered flag.

"We struggled in qualifying, the car just wasn't wuite right yet," said Terrell. "But the track came in good and we got it dialled in. I was able to move forward pretty fast. It felt really good to have a good night after our hard luck that started off this season at Placerville."

Last year, Terrell had a very competitive run in the Petaluma Speedway All Pro Championship where he finished second place in the competitive tour. Despite a damaging accident in the final weeks of the season he finished the season in the bridesmaid position for his second straight year.

In 2009 Terrell drove the VanLare Steering and Repair #5 car in the weekly All Pro Series at Petaluma and reserved the family owned #43 for special events. This year he will start the season back in the familiar blue and orange #43 machine for his latest championship run.

Bradley Terrell is grateful for his continued supporters for the 2010 racing, many of which helped out these past two weeks to get him prepared for the All Pro Series opener. Among his marketing partners are Millhouse Glass, the Dry Creek Rancheria Band of Pomo Indians, Randy Hanson Auto Body and Paint. Vanlare Steering Repair, A1 Shower and Mirror Incorporated, Knockout Signs, Santa Rosa Moving & Storage, Altes Engineering, and 4 Wheel Parts.

Bradley Terrell is seeking additional sponsorship for the season ahead. Title sponsorship of the #43 sprint car is available with premier advertising space and great publicity with a very positive, energetic race team.
