[b SEBASTOPOL, CA 01-11-10] - For the past two racing season's, Sebastopol resident Bradley Terrell has made a stellar run for the Petaluma Speedway All Pro Championship and has always been a strong runner in the travelling California Sprint Car Civil War Race Series. After finishing as a bridesmaid to the Petaluma track title in 2009 and making limited appearances in the Civil War, the North Bay favorite is hoping to make a strong run in both campaign's in 2010.

In 2010 Terrell is hoping to return to the seat of Jim VanLare's #5v sprint car to compete for the Petaluma Speedway track championship. Additionally, he plans to field his family owned #43 car in the Civil War Sprint Car Series, as well as, a number of high profile events throughout the year. His successful family owned team is seeking additional sponsorship to support their desires in the year to come.

"I am really looking forward to the 2010 season and picking up where I left off," said Terrell. "We'd like to run the entire Civil War in addition to Petaluma is we can get enough funding to do so. I think we can do well in both, we have good cars and strong team and just need the sponsorship to get us to the tracks."

In 2009, Terrell wrapped up a successful year of competition at his hometown track of Petaluma Speedway. Competing in the All Pro Winged Sprint Car Championship, Driving the Vanlare Steering Repair #5v, Terrell gained much media attention and fan following as he battled with defending track champion Alissa Geving throughout the campaign. Additionally he raced in a number of Civil War and high profile events aboard his family owned #43 car throughout the year.

In the chase for the Petaluma Speedway championship, a late season incident in which a lapped car sent him upside down and caused a DNF at a crucial time in the points chase cost Terrell a number of points entering the final weeks of competition, the deficit was one the young talented driver was eventually not able to overcome. Despite the set back Terrell kept his chin up and his foot down to drive to a respected second place finish in the standings. During the season Terrell scored three feature event finishes during the year at Petaluma, driving for veteran car owner Jim VanLare while using his family owned car for special events such as the Civil War Series and the Golden State Challenge.

“I really have to thank Jim Vanlare and his whole family for the 2009 Petaluma Season,”: added Terrell. “They gave me a great opportunity in their car and gave me a very competitive car every week. I’m very thankful for everything they gave me and I hope we will be racing for the championship together again this year."

Bradley Terrell is grateful for his supporters for the 2009 racing, many of which he hopes will be returning this year. Among his marketing partners were Argonaut Const, Millhouse Glass, the Dry Creek Rancheria Band of Pomo Indians, Randy Hanson Auto Body and Paint. Vanlare Steering Repair, A1 Shower and Mirror Incorporated, DK Embroidery, Knockout Signs, Santa Rosa Moving & Storage, Altes Engineering, and 4 Wheel Parts.
