Lawrence Fills 2020 Season With Eight Top Fives in Limited Number of Races

Inside Line Promotions – LILLIAN, Texas (Nov. 18, 2020) – Zane Lawrence highlighted a shortened race season with eight top fives across various series, including the Texas Sprint Series and Sprint Bandit Series.

“It was a good season, but a bummer that it was as limited as it was,” he said. “We’ve continued to make progress in Bob Odom’s 305ci sprint car and we were able to bring out my 360ci sprint car for a couple races as well.”

Lawrence kicked off the season in March and visited many familiar tracks across Texas such as Kennedale Speedway Park, Abilene Speedway and 82 Speedway to name a few. He battled for feature victories on several occasions across his home state.

“We had another good season with Bob and his whole team,” he said. “We contended for wins and still ended up with solid finishes. It’s been great racing for him and I know those wins are coming for us. I’m looking forward to continue racing with him in 2021.”

Lawrence was able to race his own 360ci sprint car a handful of times in 2020 as well. Arguably the brightest moment was a fourth-place run with the Sprint Bandit Series on Sept. 26 at Kennedale Speedway Park.

“I wish we were able to race more 360ci sprint car events and that might be something we try to do more of next year when I’m not racing with Bob,” he said.
