Lawrence Captures Handful of Top 10s During Sporadic Start to 2020 Season

Inside Line Promotions – KENNEDALE, Texas (July 2, 2020) – Zane Lawrence has been back in the saddle of both his own 360ci sprint car and Bob Odom’s 305ci sprint car since racing resumed a few weeks ago.
Lawrence has raced for Odom in several starts with the Texas Sprint Series at various tracks since late May, earning top 10s at Boyd Raceway in Boyd, Texas, on May 26; at Kennedale Speedway Park on June 6; at Grayson County Speedway in Bells, Texas, on June 13; and at 82 Speedway in Petty, Texas, on June 20.
“We’ve definitely showed a lot of speed this year in Bob’s car,” he said. “We’ve been consistent in our heat races and features, and we continue to gain speed throughout the season. I think we will be in contention for some wins this season.”
Lawrence also has plans to compete in his own sprint car at various events this season. He was credited with a 13th-place finish last Saturday at Kennedale Speedway Park during a Sprint Car Bandits show.
“That was the first time this year that I’ve been able to bring my sprint car out and we have speed in that, too,” he said. “We were up to eighth, but the transponder died so we were scored in 13th by the end of the night. “
Lawrence’s next race is this Friday at Boyd Raceway with the Texas Sprint Series.
