4th Place at Selinsgrove Speedway
Once again, with the weather forecast calling for strong thunderstorms to be in the area, JMR made the decision to head north to Selinsgrove Speedway. Putting the normal set-up back on the car, we were looking for a strong finish.
Starting 3rd in the heat race, Jacob made some contact with the 4th place car putting him behind on the start, Jacob would maintain and hold on to finish fourth place in the heat race.
Starting outside in the second row for the feature, Jacob made an good effort to move into third on the start but had to enter turn one on the highside, and making contact again, would settle into the fourth position. On lap 14, Jacob spun coming out of turn 4, bringing out the caution, on the restart, Jacob would run up over the 3rd place car's right rear, and the car would not shift correctly after the contact.
We will repair anything that is broken, and be back in acton next Friday night August 17th. There is only 6 point race left in the season, JMR has made the decision that if we are rained out at Selinsgrove on Friday's, we will be running at Shippensburg just to get some more seat time before the season ends.
