Victory #3 at Shippenburg Speedway
After struggling on Friday nights, we have the set up for Shippensburg. With the 125 car counts continuing to get bigger, Shippensburg has been a nice change to a tough season.
Jacob would start in 2nd position in the heat race, he would quickly move into the #1 spot at the start. Jacob would lead every lap of the heat race.
JMR would make some chassis changes for the feature, we have logged enough laps at Ship, we have a pretty good idea what the track will do.
At the start of the feature, Jacob would get the jump on the field, coming out of turn #2 the car would "bog" and the rest of the field would close up to the rear of the #18. Jacob would quickly bring the engine up in RPM's and would hold on to the top spot for the entire feature event.
Special thanks to Nick Spencer of Spencer's Construction Service for being in attendance to watch Jacob bring home the victory. Nick is one of our sponsors who joined JMR for 2012, we hope Spencer's Construction will be back with JMR in 2013.
Jacob will be back in action next Friday night 8/31 at Selinsgrove and Saturday night 9/1 at Shippensburg.
