DNS at Selinsgrove on 5-25-12
On 5/25/12 Jacob Moose Racing headed to Selinsgrove Speedway once again with a new set-up on the car. The past couple of weeks we have been trying some different things to get the car handling the way Jacob wants it. Last week was promising, so we were looking forward to seeing what we had tonight. We were not disappointed, in hot laps Jacob liked the changes that were made on the car.
Starting 5th in the heat race, Jacob drove a really strong race, taking over the 2nd spot on the last lap of the heat race. With a couple of "minor" changes to the set-up for the feature event, JMR was looking for a strong finish.
When pushing off for the feature event, we could not get the engine to start, Selinsgrove gave us plenty of time to try and get the car started, but it was not too be. After a strong run in the heat, not being able to start the engine for the feature the entire JMR team was disappointed, but we will figure out what needs fixed on the car and we will carry a spare in the trailer.
Jacob will be back in action, next Friday night at Selinsgrove June 1st.
