Ed Pompa is racing for a good cause every time he starts an ARCA Menards Series race. Pompa races to raise money for the Double H Ranch, a camp in New York that hosts children dealing with life-threatening illnesses. He has also garnered some attention with a few of the more memorable paint schemes the series has seen in recent years. Pompa twice celebrated the Clemson Tigers becoming college football’s national champion by donning the Tigers’ colors of orange and purple, and in 2019 fans at Salem Speedway voted his recreation of Darrell Waltrip’s famous “chrome car” as the best-looking throwback car in the field.
