Driver Information

Hildreth motorsports was founded in 1984 when Bob started driving in the Iowa Mini sprint assosiation. Bob quickly found success with many feature wins and posted strong 2nd place finishes in the points series. In 1992 Bob moved to full size 360 sprint cars racing all across Iowa and Minnesota. Bob found great success at the Butler County Speedway in Allison Iowa claiming the track championship in 1998 and 1999. Continuing in the winged sprints from then on Bob found himself jumping back and fourth between 360 and 410 sprint car racing. Bob found a new passion for racing when he found the Midwest 305 Sprint series. He enjoyed all the joys of racing sprints with a much lower cost. He used all of his knowledge from his 360 and 410 days to battle for three more point championships in 2006, 2008 and 2009. Hildreth motorsports expanded in 2011 when youngest son Koddy Hildreth was given the chance to jump behind the wheel. Koddy leaned all about the winged sprint cars and the driving style it took to succeed in these powerful sprint cars at Jackson Speedway (now know as Jackson Motorplex). Koddy was also a part of the Midwest 305 sprint series in 2011 and was awarded the rookie of the year.

After spot starts over ten years ago, Koddy returned to Knoxville in the Pro Sprints in 2024 as Rookie of the Year. He has been a regular over the years in the 305 class at the Iowa State Fairgrounds and Boone.
