USAC Indiana Sprintweek 2017
The week that USAC drivers and fans look forward to every year is upon us. Tomorrow night kicks off Indiana Sprintweek 2017 at Gas City I-69 Speedway, a place we have struggled at in the past. But even as this year has been a struggle, we found a bit of speed lately at Knoxville and our last weekend in Indiana, and we are excited to get back on track to see what we can make of it. A close 2nd place finish in our most recent event left us hungry and ready to find success once again. After Friday night, we will head to Kokomo Speedway Saturday and Lawrenceburg Speedway Sunday, both tracks that we have scored wins at in the past. With three races in the books, the series will take a break Monday and Tuesday before ramping back up Wednesday at the historic Terre Haute half mile. From there, ISW '17 will wrap up with three familiar tracks at Lincoln Park Speedway Thursday, Bloomington Speedway Friday, and Tri-State Speedway on Saturday. I'm excited to get back behind the wheel and I'm counting down the minutes until time trials tomorrow.
With all that being said, I'd like to thank my family and girlfriend, Vanessa, Jake Argo, and Jerry Gibson for sticking with us through the first part of this year along with our tremendous partners: Jackson Compaction, Ortega's Appliance, Mesilla Valley Transportation, Hodges Automotive, Parts Plus, Competition Suspension, Maxim Racing, Indy Race Parts, Hoosier Midwest, FK Rod Ends, BMRS, Kinsler, Bam Lifters, Cometic, Speedway Motors, ButlerBuilt, Wilwood, Keizer, Total Seal, JE Pistons, K&N, Wix, and The Oil Medics. Without all you, this wouldn't be possible and we would've be able to live our dream racing in Indiana. We're hoping for the best this week and we're going to have a lot of fun doing it.
