Hodges Motorsports Update - USA Raceway Practice
Practice night is over here in the desert at USA Raceway in Tucson, AZ. It was the first of four nights of action atop the 3/8 mile oval. I did 3 sets of non-wing practice sessions, and 2 with the wing car. Right off the bat we were pretty fast in both cars, and improved on them as the night went on. I was very happy with the feel of the new Integra by Benic Racing Shocks, and I must thank Brad Benic for his tremendous help tonight, as well as Manny Ortega. In the end, I was pleased with the speed in the cars, and even more so with the maneuverability. The Integra by Benic shock package was good, Wesmar powerplant was motoring, and the Maxim Chassis was handling well. We'll move on to ASCS Canyon non-wing action tomorrow night, and hope to have as good a showing as we did tonight.
