We had 52 cars last night at Lonestar Speedway in Kilgore, TX and it was not the greastest of nights for us but we made it through with little damage. We started the night off on a good note, pulling pill 9, putting us on the pole of the 6th heat race. I got a good jump on second place and took the lead going into turn 1 but it didn't last long as I fell quickly back to third where I held my ground and ended up finishing. The track was wide open on the fence and my car didn't feel comfortable, so we made some changes. We now started 4th in the B-main. I had a good initial start jumping to 3rd but a quick red came out. We had to restart again and I didn't get as good of a jump and at the end of the front strech I let up and got hit in the right rear, flattening it. We were done for the night and we were still puzzled about the car because we have been struggling with it ever since Devil's Bowl. We decided to do a few things to the car and cut out an added safety cage to see if that would help the attitude of the car. We will give it all we got today as we head to I-30 Speedway in Little Rock, AR. We hope to have a better night and go away with the car in one piece.
