Well it was a tough night for the 74x race team, but we made it through it. We were fast in hot laps and also the heat (where we started 4th) until I caught myself clipping an infield tire, which folded up the front end running 4th. With the help of Derrik Ortega and Mark Rosborough, and of course my family, we got the car ready to run the 1st B Feature. Starting 15th, I moved up to 10th and could not go any farther. I was definitely a little bit rusty having not been the car in awhile and I think this helped me get going again. With rain threatening (and now pouring) all around the Dallas area, the second night of Devil's Bowl action was postponed to a later date. All I can say is we will give it another go and hope for the best.
