Chili Bowl Premims

Tonight was our qualifying night for the 25th annual Chili Bowl Nationals. With a high draw, we started outside the fourth row in the 6th heat race. A couple early race passes moved us up from the 8th position into 5th. I slipped off the bottom a couple laps later and slipped back into our 6th place heat race finishing position. This gave us enough passing points for a 4thplace starting position in tonight’s C feature. We held off the competition and transferred into B main with a 4th place finish. Starting 16th we moved up into our 12th place finishing position, ending our racing for the evening. We battled a fuel issue with the motor all night long. We plan to get all the fuel issues solved in the morning, then get the elbows up and ready to race our way up through the Mains tomorrow.
