1977 started competive go kart racing at age 16 till 1981, won a few championships . 1981 started running sportsman class at highland till 1988 then in 1988 started running super modified class for 2 years.. in 1990 started running a late model until 1997 ...and then 1997 to 2002 ran arca full time . also ran 6 busch series races . 2002-2004 ran a nascar touring division through black jack racing out of wisconsin and mark ran his own nascar touring team for a year also.and then in 2004 ! mark left asphalt racing after 7 years and started running his late model ! 1993 4th place ump national points, 1994 pevely, godfrey track champions .1994 2nd place ump national points. 1995 1st place triple track , 1995 track champion at pevely, stcharles,,godfrey and missouri state.1995 2nd place ump national points.1996 florida speed week champion and 1996 florida state champion modified . track champions 2 years tricity, 1 year highland , belleville 1 year, godfrey 2 years, st charles 1 year and pevely 5 years. Track champion in Highland 2019 ! 2003 duquoin state fair winner of the modified, 2004 2012 and 2015 winner of the 100 lapper in belleville ! 2009 track champion tri city, 2010 pevely track champion, 2013track champion in belleville ! 426 Feature Wins. He has been running the summer national since 1990 ! When he raced arca for seven years he totally quit dirt racing , it got so expensive that he went back to late Model in 2007 ! He said he could've probably won a few more track champions but for years he was more interested in running the summer nationals all across America. You will find him at any of the local tracks in the St Louis area. We are hoping to have a good year now that he has put together a new XR1 rocket chassis ! Please say hi to us at the track.
