Bring on 2012
We hope all of you Legend Racing fans had a great Christmas season and wish you the best in the New Year! The racing team has enjoyed some time off and we are now full steam ahead for 2012. Last season gave the entire team difficulties with many types of problems. For most of the season we played damage control to try and stop the team from the downward spiral suffered during the season. The sun started shining through the clouds towards the end of 2011; A 17th to 6th run at Brainerd after a devastating crash in hot laps, leading 14 laps at St. Croix Valley Raceway, and 2 solid finishes at Elko against the best UMSS field to date! Back to 2012, -we are working with some new sponsors that will allow us to run a winged sprint car along with several non-wing dates on the card for the season. We will be announcing these sponsors soon so look forward to seeing them on the Legend Racing car this season. We want to thank the following sponsors for their support; VRP shocks, The Brakeman, Pequot Tool and Manufacturing, Justice Brothers, King Racing Products, and Ostrich Racing Engines. Without their help we wouldn’t be able to do what we love to do.
