A New Season is Upon Us!
The 2011 race season has started across the country, and as temperatures begin to rise, teams everywhere are preparing to fire off their hot rods for the first time in months. After taking in some of the action in Florida over the weekend I am really pumped up!
Thanks to some old friends, The Faulkner Family, I was able to hit up Daytona and Volusia this weekend, and it didn't disappoint! After visiting Daytona for some of the qualifying practices we cruised over to Volusia and hung out for Saturday night's World of Outlaw show. The track was nasty slick, but the racing was great all night, and the finish was one of the most dramatic I have seen as Kinser picked up his second win of the weekend. Great stuff!
Now I'm back in Texas preparing to get our season. Thanks to input from our friends on Facebook and Twitter, we have a new paint scheme laid out for 2011.
Some of you may notice some new names on the car, and we couldn't be happier to have them on board. I would like to think all of our new partners for 2011; The Oil Medics, Rod End Supply,Sander Engineering, Maust Racing Fuel, Driver Websites, Triple X Race Co., New Braunfels Crossfit, and Simpson for making 2011 very promising! Also we will be announcing the release of our new website soon, currently being constructed by our friends at Driver Websites!
As of now our plan for 2011 is run the complete ASCS Gulf South schedule and in as many of The Oil Medics ASCS Lone Star events as possible, and if things go well, we will throw in some ASCS National event towards the end of the year.
